The ISV Equity Strategy I is an actively managed collective investment fund that invests 100% in US equities. Stock selection is carried out by ISV, with 70 to 125 stocks selected from the S&P 1500. The weighting is related to the stock’s market capitalization, however, ISV can under- and overweight stocks in order to give highly attractive stocks a higher weight. In order to avoid too high concentrations, a single company can have a maximum weighting of 15%. The goal of the fund is to outperform the S&P 1’500 index by about 4% per year.
The strategy was developed by Dr. Jan Pichler in his doctoral thesis and is a variation of the profitability factor. Please find more details in the following information sheet:
